1953 Japanese RIKUO

The Japanese company called Sankyo Co. (later Rikuo Nainen Co.) bought the 1930s DL model 45ci licensing blueprints, tools, dies and machinery from Harley-Davidson sometime in the '40s to make this "Japanese Harley". The name, “RIKUO” means “King of Road” in Japanese. But Rikuo Nainen Co. went bankrupt in 1960. It was too old and too expensive for Japanese people after the War.
