Harry Denune (1922 - 2013) said this "Chattanooga" was the First M/C Accessory he manufactured and sold when he first founded the mega Dixie Distributing in Ohio over 70 years ago. His famous company went on to purchase and supply a good majority of all the WW2 Harley WLA Spare Parts surplussed by Uncle Sam in the 1940s & 1950s. At one time it took well over 1 million square feet of multiple warehouses and buildings to hold all the 100's of 1000s wood crates of WW2 surplus Harley parts and new Harley parts Dixie made and sold. See attached photo of one of the huge Dixie buildings in Columbus, Ohio (now demolished).
